What the C.A.R.E. Act Is
The CARE Act is a three‑year arts‑infrastructure pilot designed to reinvest public resources into New Jersey’s Impact Zone communities. Built from ArtLeaf NJ’s model, the CARE Act strengthens local leadership, expands creative access, and builds the systems that allow arts programming to thrive long‑term.
Why the C.A.R.E. Act Matters
New Jersey’s Impact Zones have the talent, culture, and creative history — but not the long‑term investment. The CARE Act closes that gap by building the systems, staffing, and infrastructure that allow arts programming to take root and stay. This is about stability, not one‑off grants. It’s about giving communities the resources they’ve always deserved.
